Postpartum prolapse usually involves the protrusion of uterus immediately after or within several hours of parturition, when the cervix is open and the uterus lacks tone. Uterine prolapse occurs when the previously gravid uterine horn becomes folded in after calving and protrudes from the vulva. Uterus can bulge out with removal of placenta after parturition. It can further complicate and cause secondary infection due to environmental factors.
Animal usually recumbent but may be standing with the uterus hanging up to the hock joint. The fetal membranes or mucous membranes of the uterus is exposed and usually soiled with faeces, straws, dirt and or blood clots unless very recent case. It is an emergency situation and requires immediate attention as it can worsen the condition of your animal. Homoeopathic veterinary medicines work internally and increase the tonicity of uterus which can prevent prolapse.

INDICATIONS: For the treatment and prevention of Post-partum vaginal and uterine prolapse in animals.
DOSAGE: 15-20 drops 3 times a day.
